It's no secret that, during the Holidays, people tend to gain weight. It's completely normal and justified. Most of our family traditions include full meals all season long, and if you ask me, gaining those extra pounds while spending quality time with the loved ones is totally worth it. However, there's always a healthier alternative to every meal, and holiday dining is no exception. Below, I'm sharing my 5 favorite (very easy) Christmas recipes gone low-fat. Let's cut down the calorie intake, without the sacrifice! :)

1. Red & White Salad. "Bitter, sweet and peppery flavors marry well in this confetti-like salad of wintery fruit and vegetables."

2. Roasted Green Beans. This recipe is low cholesterol and low saturated fat, and the perfect match for a traditional Christmas meal.

3. Cranberry Sauce. This 3-ingredient recipe is the easiest and healthiest out there. Definitely a must-try!

4. Apple Cider. One of the Holidays' favorites, this low-sodium recipe takes no more than 5 minutes to prep. 

5. Chocolate-Cinnamon Bread Pudding. The perfect dessert for a Christmas dinner, this pudding is the ideal take on healthy sweet.
